Summer sleepaway camp conjures images of starry nights and fire-roasted s’mores. But this year, something is creeping around summer camps. It’s H1N1, also known as swine flu. What should parents do? Our next guest says the answer is a dose of Tamiflu to control outbreaks at camps. Dr. Marc Siegel is an associate professor of medicine at New York University and author of Bird Flu: Everything You Need to Know About the Next Pandemic and False Alarm: The Truth about the Epidemic of Fear . More importantly, he is a parent of a kid in camp. He joins The Takeaway with his thoughts on flu prevention and camp songs.
