Hard to buy products ‘Made in the USA’

The World

Many products we buy now come with labels that read ?Made in China? or Japan or India, rather than the U.S.A. Minnesota tried to change that by implementing a law requiring state agencies to buy uniforms and safety equipment made in this country.

But the law is turning out to be more difficult and costly to follow than originally anticipated. We talk with Gary Carlson, the director of intergovernmental relations with the League of Minnesota Cities, about why the law is a cause of concern.
