Dancehall DJ Father Goose has a huge following among today’s youth – particularly those under age nine. He goes by the name Father Goose, and he’s featured on all five of the children’s CDs by the uber-popular Dan Zanes. Ask any kid, and she’ll tell you Father Goose’s Jamaican-influenced tracks are often the most memorable… not to mention the most danceable. He’s recently come out with his own CD – It’s a Bam Bam Diddly. But what a lot of his followers – and their parents – may not know is he used to be a hardcore dancehall rapper known as Rankin Don. Father Goose, aka Rankin Don, aka Wayne Rhoden, speaks with Faith Salie on Fair Game.
