Dev Hynes is a Texas born, Edinburgh raised, and London based songwriter. Hynes is currently best know as the guitarist of his previous group, noisy rock trio Test Icicles, but lately Hynes has toned things down to emphasize melody and songcraft. He’s here today to play a few songs and tell us about his new band, Lightspeed Champion, whose debut album, Falling Off the Lavender Bridge, will be released on Domino Records in early in 2008.
