Fair Game – Episode 20071030 – Segment 3

Fair Game
The World

Our musical guests tonight are the men and women of Oakley Hall – a band that takes its name from the novelist of the same name. Hall, the cult writer, is a San Diego native famous for his take on the American West. The band hails from Brooklyn and they”ve just gotten back into town after a month of touring. Before they have a chance to get settled back at home, they’re going to play us a couple of songs.

Songs from the session:
Free Radicals Lament
Living in Sin in the USA
No Dreams
Rue the Blues

Do you support journalism that strengthens our democracy?

At The World, we believe strongly that human-centered journalism is at the heart of an informed public and a strong democracy. We see democracy and journalism as two sides of the same coin. If you care about one, it is imperative to care about the other.

Every day, our nonprofit newsroom seeks to inform and empower listeners and hold the powerful accountable. Neither would be possible without the support of listeners like you. If you believe in our work, will you give today? We need your help now more than ever!
