Investigations are under way. Police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez today said so far, investigators are "not saying it was politically motivated" but are examining "all motives," according to China's Xinhua.
Lopez said the police are not disclosing everything related to the case, but did confirm it was a single shot and said there were no known threats at the Denver office, reported Reuters.
Police told local press they had identified a vehicle that may be related to the case, according to MSNBC.
The Obama campaign has declined to comment on the incident, which took place Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. at the campaign office on Denver's West Ninth Avenue, said AP. People were inside the office at the time, but no one was hurt.
