Democrats say they want to move quickly into the nomination process in order to have the next justice confirmed by the end of the summer. Potential candidates for the post reportedly include Solicitor General Elena Kagan, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and two federal appeals court judges: Diane Wood and Merrick Garland.
