In South Korea, democracy holds after martial law declared but Koreans on edge

In South Korea on Wednesday, the streets were relatively calm after a night that many saw as the beginning of a coup d’état. That followed President Yoon Suk Yeol’s controversial declaration of martial law. With the president now facing an impeachment effort by parliament, many Koreans are calm but concerned. Host Marco Werman speaks with Peter Møller about how everyday people experienced the events. He’s a resident of South Korea and director of KoRoot, a human rights organization there.
