A Chinese perspective on US-China relations from G20

The World

US President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are among the leaders at this week’s G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The meeting of the world’s biggest economies is part of Biden’s six-day trip to Latin America — one of his last trips as leader of the US. While major topics on the G20 agenda are humanitarian crises and climate change, US President-elect Donald Trump is a subject on the sidelines. For some perspective about what’s at stake for Beijing, Host Carolyn Beeler spoke with with Wang Guan, who was following the conference from Rio de Janeiro. He’s an anchor and commentator on the China Global Television Network, a Chinese government-run English language network.
