TV doctor-turned-Senate-hopeful, Dr. Mehmet Oz, is edging ahead in recent polls for Pennsylvania’s Republican primary on Tuesday. His dual citizenship with the US and Turkey has led his opponents to accuse him of conflicting loyalties. Oz says he will renounce his Turkish citizenship if elected to the Senate. In his mother’s hometown of Istanbul, Oz is a household name, but a divisive figure.
