US proposes ‘roadmap’ for peace in Afghanistan

The Biden administration is pursuing a high-level diplomatic effort to speed up peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban. The news was made public after local media published a letter from Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. The Biden administration is also proposing a “roadmap for the peace” which has received mixed reactions. The World’s Shirin Jaafari reports.
