Ugandan parliament passes anti-LGBTQ bill

The parliament in Uganda on Tuesday passed a bill that criminalizes being gay. Human rights observers say the measure go farther than similar laws in other countries, creating jail terms for new offenses called “attempted homosexuality” and “aggravated homosexuality.” Host Marco Werman has this update on a story we brought you earlier this week.
