Turkish court sentences philanthropist to life

A Turkish court on Monday sentenced a longtime civil society leader to a lifetime in prison without the chance of parole. Osman Kavala, 65, was convicted of plotting to overthrow the Turkish government. Seven others tried alongside Kavala were sentenced to 18 years. Host Marco Werman spoke with The World’s Durrie Bouscaren, who has been following the trial.
