In the UK, grocery stores and florists are selling out of cut flowers as mourners pay their respects to the late Queen Elizabeth. Many of those flowers are coming from Turkey’s southern Isparta region, where a trade association estimates 1.5 million stems will be sent to the UK during the mourning period for the late Queen, double the usual number.
