The stunning documentary “Navalny” is up for an academy award in the category of best documentary feature film. It recounts Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s poisoning in 2020, his subsequent return to Russia and imprisonment. At the center of the film is Navalny himself as well as investigative journalist Christo Grozev who uncovers how the Kremlin tried to kill Navalny.
