Being a reporter in Turkey is not easy: The country ranks second only to China for putting journalists behind bars. Kurdish journalists have it even harder. Many Kurdish journalists in Turkey are often accused of being part of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), a militant group accused of attacking parts of southeastern Turkey for decades. However, Kurdish reporters cover stories that few others will touch. Durrie Bouscaren has the story.
