Taiwan is learning to ‘live with the virus’

Over the past two years of the pandemic, Taiwan has been a role model of sorts for how a democracy can function under a zero Covid-19 policy. This year, the country has changed tack and has taken on a “live with the virus” approach. Host Carol Hills spoke with epidemiologist and former vice president of Taiwan, Dr. Chen Chien-jen, to find out how the island is now leading the way in this new approach.
