Latin American film has been booming, though Peru is a little late to the party. But the success of Peruvian filmmaker Melina Leon has helped the industry in her home country. Reporters Vera Haller and Gisele Regatao visited Leon at her home in Lima to hear how she got her start, as well as the role she’s playing in inspiring others.
