Since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, Moscow has been bombing cultural sites — sites that are uniquely Ukrainian. Preservationists are using “photogrammetry,” which literally means the act of deriving precise measurements from taking overlapping photos, then rendering them in three dimensions by using computer algorithms.
