Remembering Captain Sir Tom Moore

More than 2.2 million people have died from COVID-19 in this pandemic. But on Tuesday, we sadly need to report that one of them is Captain Sir Tom Moore. The British World War II veteran became a global hero this spring when he walked laps in his garden to raise money for the UK’s National Health Service. Moore died in the hospital after himself contracting the disease, his family said Tuesday.
