Russia opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been sentenced to more than 2 ½ years in prison. The sentence comes for violating a parole related to a fraud charge. Navalny says he’s innocent and that the parole violation came because he was in a coma after he was poisoned — a poisoning the Russian government itself is widely believed to have orchestrated.
