New research could lead to nearly foolproof mosquito repellent

Depending on where you live, mosquitos can be anything from a mere nuisance you swat away during the summer to a flying transporter of diseases like malaria and West Nile virus. Scientists in Israel say they’ve developed a new form of mosquito repellent that can deter over 99% of mosquitos from biting people. Host Marco Werman spoke to Jonathan Bohbot, who was part of that research team at Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
