Massive paleoburrows in Brazil have led to new field of study 

Hundreds of tunnels have been discovered across southern Brazil in recent years that appear to have been dug by an extinct species of giant ground sloth or armadillo. Michael Fox reports that research into these tunnels is developing into a new academic area: the study of the homes of prehistoric animals.
