Man beats horse in annual Welsh race for third time in 40 years

This weekend’s 22.5-mile Man vs Horse race in Wales ended in a third victory for humankind since the competition began in 1980. Winner Ricky Lightfoot won more than $4,000 and bragging rights over a thousand other runners and the 50 horses and their riders. This was also the first race since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
