Lockdown may ease in Shanghai

China’s largest city has been under strict COVID-19 lockdown for more than six weeks. The government now says Shanghai is on track to reopen by June 1. The daily number of new cases in Shanghai has declined steadily for more than two weeks, but the government acknowledges the possibility of the outbreak rebounding, Marco Werman has the details.
