Language teacher rethinks Russian in Ukraine

Language plays an important role in the war in Ukraine, and the ways in which Russian President Vladimir Putin has challenged the validity of Ukrainian culture and identity. The question of language is unavoidable for Olga Pariieva. She’s a language teacher in Kyiv, or at least she was — before the war.
