Labor unions in Turkey call for reforms after mine explosion

Last Friday, 41 people died in a coal mine explosion in northeastern Turkey. The disaster is the second of its kind in the country in less than a decade. Families of the victims and union organizers are calling for greater safety measures, but criticizing the state-run mine and the government response can be risky.
