Istanbul attack

The World

At least six people are dead and dozens of others wounded after an explosion struck a popular shopping street in central Istanbul on Sunday. Turkish authorities have blamed the PKK and a suspect is in custody, but the event shatters a sense of safety that the city has felt after a spate of attacks between 2015 and 2016. Durrie Bouscaren reports from the scene, where witnesses have come to pay their respects.
