Iranian satirist prompted smiles, but also deep reflection

Iraj Pezeshkzad, a beloved Iranian writer and satirist, died this week at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 94. His iconic novel, “My Uncle Napoleon,” was first published in Iran in 1973, and was later made into a popular television series. The World’s Shirin Jaafari spoke with one fan who explained why he was so popular.
