Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and tightening restrictions on the country’s press, the independent Russian-language TV station ended its operations in Russia with an on-air walkout by its staff in Moscow. Their concluding statement: “No to war.” Host Carol Hills spoke to Tikhon Dzyadko, TV Rain’s editor-in-chief. He joined the show from the station’s new Latvian headquarters in Riga.
