LockBit is one of the most prolific ransomware gangs in the world. It’s targeted hospitals, schools and cities. Just recently, LockBit took responsibility for an attack on Britain’s Royal Mail. LockBit has expanded quickly using savvy marketing and business innovation strategies. Dina Temple-Raston of the podcast “Click Here” talks to Jon DiMaggio, a cyber researcher who went undercover for more than a year with the group, as well as the town of St. Mary’s in Ontario, Canada, which fell victim to a LockBit attack.
