Galapagos discovery could help save coral reefs

It was good news when scientists announced in April they had discovered pristine and thriving deep-sea coral reefs off the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. Now, some researchers are looking to them to learn what might protect other reefs from suffering from further climate change damage. Vera Haller reports from Santa Cruz Island on all the different research projects that the reef discovery has made possible.
