Finland considers joining NATO

Finland says it could apply for NATO membership as soon as this spring. That’s a 180-degree turn from the country’s long-standing policy of maintaining its neutrality. It’s sparked threats from Russia to escalate the war in Ukraine. Shashank Joshi, defense editor at The Economist, talks with The World’s host Marco Werman about the potential impacts of Finland’s decision.
