EU human rights court says Turkey must release civil society leader

The Council of Europe is threatening sanctions on Turkey if the country does not release a political prisoner named Osman Kavala. Wednesday was a deadline for Turkey to respond to the accusations, and advocates had hoped for his release but Kavala remains behind bars. The World’s Durrie Bouscaren joins host Carol Hills to discuss the human rights case.
