Copper mine protests roil Panama

Panama has been roiling this week. Schools have been closed. University classes, canceled. All over Central America’s largest open-pit copper mine. The government approved a new contract with the mine late last week. Since then, protests have rippled across Panama, and people are afraid they could  bring the country to a standstill again. Michael Fox has the story, from the province of Chiriqui.
