Archaeologists in central Turkey find 8,600 year old loaf of bread

Archaeologists at Çatalhöyük, a Neolithic settlement in central Turkey, have discovered what may be the world’s oldest bread loaf. The carbonized lump was found in an oven and was made from coarsely ground grain. As The World’s Durrie Bouscaren reports, the finding helps archaeologists trace the diets of early humans.
