On Friday, Ecuador continues to reel from the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio. A state of emergency has been declared and Villavicencio’s supporters are gathering to mourn him. Late Thursday, the Ecuadorian attorney general’s office confirmed all six suspects arrested are Colombian — and so too is the suspected shooter, killed by law enforcement.
