Afghans are picking up arms against the Taliban with support from the government

Taliban fighters have been taking over district after district since US President Joe Biden’s announcement of an unconditional US troop withdrawal back in April. To counter the insurgents, people across Afghanistan are taking up arms. The Afghan government not only supports the mobilization, but it has also called on volunteers to join. The World’s Shirin Jaafari reports.
