‘Afghanistan has become hell for women’

The Taliban in Afghanistan have increased their restrictions on women’s rights to work and move around freely. According to a recent report by the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, the de facto rulers have cracked down on women who don’t have a male guardian accompanying them in public.
