Afghanistan earthquake: ‘People were digging with their bare hands’

Residents of the western city of Herat in Afghanistan are grappling with the aftermath of a 6.3-magnitude earthquake. The quake, along with several aftershocks, have left at least 2,000 people dead, according to Taliban officials. This makes it one of the country’s worst natural disasters in decades. The World’s Shirin Jaafari has been talking to those affected.
