Its interests include geography, archaeology and natural science, and the promotion of environmental and historical conservation.
Photojournalist Pete Muller was on assignment in Guinea covering the Ebola outbreak for National Geographic. A photo he posted on Instagram included a young boy with a Dries Mertens jersey — the renowned Belgian soccer player. Mertens reached out to Muller wanting to help the whole community.
