Momo Chang

Momo Chang is a freelance journalist based in Oakland, California. Her writings focus on health, education, immigration and Asian American communities. She is a former staff writer at the Oakland Tribune, where she covered Asian American communities. She has freelanced for The American Prospect, East Bay Express, San Francisco Chronicle, Wired, San Francisco Bay Guardian and ColorLines, and reported for The New York Times. Momo is primarily a print journalist who also produces audio and visual stories for documentary film and radio.
