The World’s Marco Werman discusses this designation with Christopher Paskowski, who researches constitutional law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. Paskowski says the designation is part of a wider debate in Germany over how to address the increasing popularity and influence of a party that some see as anti-democratic.
