Calls are growing in Germany and across Europe to stop arms sales to Israel as the war continues in Gaza. Germany has increased its weapons exports to Israel tenfold since October and activists have staged protests outside factories here producing weapons. They’re also using a new tactic they hope will stop the arms transfers — lawfare — taking governments to local and international courts in the hope that judges will shut down the weapons sales to a country they believe is committing genocide.
