New OECD survey finds a global decline in academic performance

A recent survey by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development or OECD, found an “unprecedented” decline in student performance across the globe — including in the US, Finland and Germany. But, as the OECD’s director for education and skills told the World’s host Marco Werman, students elsewhere bucked the trend and excelled — particularly in Asia.
