200% increase in ‘severe acute malnutrition’ in Tigray, UN says

There’s a sharp rise in hunger in Tigray, the northern region of Ethiopia recovering from a civil war that ended late last year in a ceasefire, according to an update this week from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. It’s expected to get worse, in part due to a suspension of food aid from two major contributors. To learn more, host Marco Werman spoke to Cameron Hudson.
