Beaches across Greece are getting upgraded to make them more accessible to people with reduced mobility. The $16-million-dollar project will install a SEATRAC system on nearly 200 beaches across the country. The solar-powered system allows a person using a wheelchair to transfer onto a seat that glides down a track and into the water. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke to Ioannis Vardakastanis, the head of the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities in Greece.
