Sweden, Finland eye NATO membership

Sweden has announced its intent to apply for NATO membership. As the Scandinavian country’s prime minister noted, it’s a historic break with its neutral security policy dating back to the continental wars against Napoleon Bonaparte, as a new aggressor, Vladimir Putin, threatens its security.
