Snow leopards endangered by climate and COVID in Central Asia 

There may be fewer than 4,000 snow leopards in Central Asia. In the past, poachers have decimated the population, but now climate change is pushing ranchers into the leopard’s territory. And interaction with humans brings the danger of COVID-19, a disease to which big cats seem especially vulnerable. Levi Bridges reports from Kyrgyzstan on the challenges facing snow leopards in the wild.
