Saudi Arabia, a country whose wealth and strategic importance was created by oil, now finds itself threatened by oil. A massive spill, ten to fifteen times the size of the Exxon Valdez spill, was released into the Persian Gulf during the war. The CBC’s Susan Murray reports.
